Goderich Little Theatre (GLT), a non-profit community arts organization that has been providing quality live theatre, film and music to Goderich and area since 1946, seeks committed individuals to serve on its volunteer Board of Directors. GLT owns and operates the Livery Theatre at 35 South Street in Goderich, Ontario.

We invite applications from members of the community with a love of/experience in the theatre who:

• support the mission of GLT

• are prepared to act as representatives of the theatre within the community

• will be loyal to the interest of the Membership

• have time to devote to the work of GLT

   

We welcome applications from those with other knowledge, skills and experience to bring to the organization, in particular we seek individuals with experience in any of the following areas would also be desirable:

• finance/accounting

• law & governance

• strategic planning

• fundraising

Nominees:

• May be nominated or may nominate themselves

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Must have been a GLT Member in good standing no later than 30 days (October 16, 2026) prior to the Annual General Meeting

Applications will be accepted up to and including September 17, 2026, 60 days prior to the actual Annual General Meeting date (Sunday November 16, 2026).

Directors are elected by the Membership at the Annual General Meeting for a two-year term and are eligible to serve three consecutive terms.

 
GLT Board members are expected to attend monthly Board meetings, sit on at least one committee and perform committee work, attend the Annual General Meeting and special membership meetings and support and attend special events.
