The Livery Film Fest is made up of a group of film-loving volunteers supported by the Goderich Little Theatre, the non-profit community group which owns the historic Livery Theatre. They are also associated with the TIFF Film Circuit, dedicated to bringing national and international films to communities across Canada.

From September to April, one Thursday per month, the Livery Film Fest is fortunate to be able to rent one of two cinemas at the Park Theatre in downtown Goderich to premiere their film of the month.

How do they choose which film to show? Well, that is wonderfully complicated! Volunteers read many reviews, watch shorts, make recommendations to each other and ultimately decide on a film they feel tells a good story and offers value to the audience. It might be funny, thought-provoking, scary, exciting - or all of the above! Most of all, they hope you find it entertaining.

Skip The Line Movie Passes Back by popular demand, we will be selling Skip the Line Passes! The Skip The Line Movie Pass functions much like a Flex Pass, with the added bonus of skipping the line at any Livery Film Fest screening. Skip Passes will be available at $35 for GLT Members and $40 for non-members. These tickets will be available for purchase at the Livery Office during office hours, and outside of the Park Theatre before screenings.

Coming Up...

Eleanor the Great

The next presentation by the Livery Film Fest is the much anticipated and delightful film ‘Eleanor the Great’. Save the date—Thursday, November 27 @7pm at The Park Theatre in Goderich—this plays for one night only!! Doors will open at 6:30pm. General Admission: $12 | GLT Members: $10.

Scarlett Johansson’s feature debut is a sharp, funny, and heartfelt look at storytelling, identity, and the fine line between inspiration and appropriation.

Starring 95-year-old Oscar nominee, June Squibb (Thelma, The Humans, Nebraska), 'Eleanor the Great' proves it’s never too late to stir up trouble.

With her quick wit and unfiltered charm, Squibb’s Eleanor is irresistible, and Johansson’s direction gives her rare depth and nuance—keeping us laughing even in the most uncomfortable moments.
