This hilarious and heartwarming play is a thoroughly engaging comedy centered around Nick, a young marketing professional, whose star is on the rise. When he is given the opportunity for an impressive promotion, Nick must choose between moving to Seattle to follow his dreams or staying in New Jersey near his two loving - one might almost say smothering - sets of grandparents. They will do anything to ensure their grandson is happy, as long as he stays home. When Nick announces his intention to leave, the four grandparents hatch plots to keep Nick nearby, whether through food, family, or even the attentions of a local girl, Caitlin O’Hare. A play about family, dreams, and connection, that asks the audience to examine what it means to love, this is a comedy that has it all.
