The nature of civility in community is explored in this comedy, in which two separate families rent homes on a historical street in a small community. All interact daily encountering commonalities, neighbour pet peeves, and pronounced opinions. The play reflects on our need to belong and be understood amidst diversity of opinions, backgrounds, and experience and to find a societal glue to bind us in civility. The characters discover this glue as the stakes, small and large, divide and then coalesce them as a community.
