The Livery Theatre
Due to the circumstances we are facing with Covid-19, and with concern for the health and safety of our patrons, staff and volunteers, The Livery Theatre remained closed to the public from March, 2020 tp Ocotber 2021. Although we have re-opened with reduced capacity, the loss of ticket revenue will have a significant impact on GLT operations and maintenance of the Livery Theatre. Any donations in lieu of ticket sales are greatly appreciated. Tax receipts will be issued immediately for on-line donations and at year end for cheques received. If you would like to make a donation, please click on the "Donations" menu item above.
If you have any questions, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for your continuing patience and cooperation. Your support has always been of the upmost importance to our organization.
It continues to be so, now, more than ever. Keep well and keep safe.
COVID-19 PROTOCOLS FOR THE LIVERY - Updated November 10, 2021 - Subject to change without notice
We continue to implement and update protocols to ensure the safety of patrons and volunteers, and work within health department rules and guidelines.
Vaccination: You must provide proof of full vaccination to attend or participate in Livery events. Original vaccine cards, copies you have taken on your phone, paper copies or an affidavit are all acceptable. Children under the age of 12 are exempt, when accompanied by a fully vaccinated adult. We will NOT be making copies of your health records.
Masking: Patrons are expected to wear masks at all times while attending the Livery.
Entry: Self-screening will take place upon entry and hand sanitizer will be available. To avoid congestion, all entry will be from the front (South Street) door, and all exits will be made through the south door to the parking lot.
Seating: Productions will have limited, non-reserved seating arranged to allow for social distancing.
Refreshments: The Livery will not be operating its usual bar service, and outside refreshments will not be allowed. The lobby water fountain will be available to fill your own containers.
Some of our patrons are going to think that these policies are stupid, inconsistent or not well thought out. You may be right! But in a world of terrible choices, we believe these are the best ones.
About the Livery
Welcome to the Goderich Little Theatre, the non-profit community group which owns the historic Livery Theatre. The GLT has operated the Livery since 1983 as the community’s Arts Centre and has met with much success in the years since.
