July was a very busy month for us at the Livery. Renovations took place courtesy of the Trillium Foundation grant and Lynn Chisholm of “Homescapes by Lynn”. It is truly amazing how a change of paint color and laying down some new carpet can change the feel of a space.
The renovations started off with the removal of tiles in the lobby and main floor restroom. They were then replaced with new tile. The entrance way looks great! The next area to experience change was the carpet on the stairs that lead to the upstairs of the Livery. New carpet has been installed and looks fantastic.
The upstairs restrooms of the Livery were a salmon pink and in desperate need of change. After priming and painting, they now are a modern green and black. The old kitchenette in the lobby has been ripped out and replaced with new cabinetry. The big fridge has been replaced by compact bar fridges, which have been installed in the bottom of the new cabinetry. This looks wonderful, but it also maximizes space and functionality.
In the auditorium, the walls have been painted a striking gray which really refreshes the space. The floor will be repainted and resealed at the end of the month. Accents such as new lighting fixtures, mirrors and tables give the building modern touches.
We are so happy with the end result of this renovation. The building has received its well deserved upgrades. We hope that our patrons will continue to enjoy the Livery, as well as the live entertainment we provide.
